  • Application for Tour Guide Trainee Card - First application

  •  

    Application procedure and documents required

    1.
    Completed application form (forms available from MGTO or can be downloaded from MGTO website); Applications should be submitted by relevant travel agency;
    -
    The application form must be signed by the lawful representative(s) of the company that is the license holder of the travel agency or the technical director of the travel agency. Company chop as well as a copy of the signatory(s)' identity document(s) (front and reverse side on the same page) must be appended to the application.
    2.
    Copy of identity document of tour guide trainee (front and reverse side on same page. Original identity document must be produced for examination);
    3.
    Copy of certificates evidencing the attendance of tour guide training course offered by the Institute for Tourism Studies (original certificates must be produced for examination);
    4.
    Copy of document detailing address of residence of tour guide trainee (e.g. copy of water bill or electricity bill);
    5.
    Copy of M/7 or M/8 business tax form of travel agency from the Finance Services Bureau (DSF);
    6. The Macau Government Tourist Office will take a digital photo of the applicant immediately.

    Fee

    MOP 100.00 (plus 10% stamp duty)

    Important information

    According to Administrative Regulation no. 22/2008, please note that:
    1. Payment can be made by MOP cash, bank draft or cheque, while only one of these 3 means can be used in each payment;
    2. If payment is made by bank draft:
    - It should be made payable to "Macau Government Tourist Office";
    - Exact amount payable should be put on the bank draft;
    3. If payment is made by cheque:
    - It should be made payable to "Macau Government Tourist Office";
    - Exact amount payable should be put on the cheque;
    - The date on the cheque should be no more than 3 days prior to the date when payment is made.
